Skincare Devices: TRY IT!

· Fashion team
Beauty tools often come with a hefty price tag, which makes many people wonder if they're truly worth the investment.
Devices like the NuFACE Mini and Medicube Age-R Booster have gained a lot of attention in the skincare world, both priced at well over $100. To help sort through the noise, here's a closer look at my experience with each one and whether they live up to the buzz!
1. NuFACE Mini Toning Device
The NuFACE Mini is a well-known microcurrent tool designed to lift and sculpt the face. At first, I enjoyed using it because it gave my face a more defined look after each session. It comes with a small tube of conductive gel, which is essential for use—otherwise, the microcurrent can sting. The gel itself is quite pricey, so I often substitute with more affordable options like aloe vera or ultrasound gel.
2. Medicube Age-R Booster
This is a new addition to my skincare routine, but I've already been impressed after just a few weeks. Unlike the NuFACE, this device is used after applying your skincare products. It runs for five minutes before automatically shutting off, making it simple and convenient. The main benefit I've noticed is that it helps my skin absorb serums and moisturizers more effectively, leaving my skin looking fresher and more radiant. I especially like using it in the morning, as it boosts the effects of my routine without adding much extra time.

Both of these devices serve different purposes. The NuFACE Mini gives quick, temporary sculpting effects but requires dedication and extra cost for gels. On the other hand, the Medicube Age-R Booster focuses on improving product absorption and overall skin texture, offering a more effortless routine. If you’re deciding between the two, think about whether you want instant but short-lived contouring or deeper skincare benefits that enhance your existing products!
