Brows can completely transform a face, and finding the right products—whether gels, waxes, or pomades makes all the difference.
I've tried a variety of formulas, and some have become staples while others didn't meet expectations. Here’s a detailed look at my favorites and least favorites!
1. Patrick Ta Major Brow Shaping Wax
Available in both tinted and clear versions, this brow wax initially seemed very promising. When I first opened it, the texture was quite hard, requiring extra effort with a spoolie or brush to pick up enough product. Over time, it became even firmer and clumpy, making it difficult to spread evenly across brows. While many rave about it online, it didn't work for me, especially after a few months of use.
2. Rose Inc Brow Renew Enriched Tinted Shaping Gel
This gel is a standout for creating natural, polished brows. The thin spoolie allows for precise application without clumping or over-depositing product. Once applied, it dries quickly, keeping brows in place all day without smudging or flaking. It's an excellent choice for anyone looking for a low-maintenance, long-lasting brow gel.
3. REFY Brow Pomade
REFY delivers one of the best pomades I've used. The dual-ended design includes a small jar of creamy pomade and a brush, making it easy to create either thin, natural lines or bold, defined brows. The formula is smooth, buildable, and stays put until removed, without smudging or clumping.
Brow products vary widely in texture, application, and staying power. While Patrick Ta's wax may not suit everyone, Rose Inc's tinted gel offers precision and hold, and REFY’s pomade is ideal for shaping brows exactly how you like them. Finding the right formula comes down to personal preference, application style, and the look you want to achieve!
