There’s something so satisfying about putting on skincare before bed and waking up to skin that already looks happier. I’m not expecting to magically wake up with perfect skin, but a good overnight routine can make my complexion feel softer, more hydrated, and a lot less dull.
Two products I’ve especially enjoyed for nighttime are Aesop B Triple C Balancing Gel and Pai Rosehip BioRegenerate Oil. They have very different textures, but both fit beautifully into a slow, relaxing evening routine.

1. Aesop B Triple C Balancing Gel

I’m a big fan of lightweight nighttime products, especially when I’m layering more than one step. This gel feels light when I apply it, but my skin still feels properly moisturized afterward. The combination of vitamin B3 and vitamin C is a big reason I was drawn to it. I like using it when my complexion looks tired or uneven and I want to bring a little more freshness back into my routine.
It absorbs nicely without leaving my skin feeling sticky, so I can apply it before bed and forget about it. By morning, my skin feels soft and plump rather than weighed down by a thick layer of cream.

2. Pai Rosehip BioRegenerate Oil

Rosehip oil has always been one of those ingredients I enjoy having around when my skin needs extra nourishment. This one feels especially lovely at night because I can take my time massaging a few drops into my skin. It has a rich, nourishing feel thanks to the oils, omegas, and antioxidants, but I don't need much product. A little goes a surprisingly long way for me.
I reach for it when my skin feels dry or looks a little lackluster. There’s something about finishing my nighttime routine with an oil that makes the whole process feel more complete.
If I want lightweight hydration and a brighter-looking complexion, I lean toward the Aesop gel. On nights when my skin feels like it needs more nourishment, Pai rosehip oil is the one I reach for. I love skincare that lets me go to bed feeling like I’ve done something nice for my skin without turning nighttime into a 12-step project.
