Eyeshadow is one of those steps I don’t always do, but when I do, it changes everything. Even a light sweep of color can make my face look more awake, like I actually put in effort when I probably didn’t. I tend to keep things simple, so the palettes I use are usually the ones that don’t make me think too much.
Lately, I’ve been going back and forth between the Lameila Eyeshadow Palette and the Secondate Eyeshadow Palette. They give different vibes, and I like having that choice depending on my mood.
1. Lameila Eyeshadow Palette
This palette feels easy from the start. The shades are usually soft and wearable, nothing too complicated. I can pick almost any color and it still works without needing too much blending skill. The texture is decent for everyday use—not overly intense, but buildable enough if I want a bit more depth.
2. Secondate Eyeshadow Palette
This one feels slightly more expressive. The shades tend to stand out a bit more, whether it’s in tone or finish. Some colors catch the light better, which makes the eyes look more defined even with minimal effort. I usually use this palette when I want my eye makeup to be a bit more noticeable. Not dramatic, but enough to feel like I did something different. It takes a little more thought compared to Lameila, but still manageable.
Eyeshadow doesn’t always need to be bold to make a difference. Between these two palettes, I’ve found a balance between simple and slightly more defined. It’s not about creating something complicated, just about adding a little dimension when I feel like it.
