Primer is one of those steps I used to skip without thinking much about it. It didn’t seem important at first—just an extra layer before makeup.
But over time, I started noticing how much difference it makes in how everything sits and lasts through the day.
These two primers ended up in my routine at different times, and I naturally started comparing how they feel in real use rather than just on paper.

1. SilkyGirl Instant Pore Fix Primer

The first impression I got from this one is how quickly it changes the surface feel. It has that soft, almost blurring effect that makes everything feel more even before anything else goes on top. When I smooth it out, it feels lightweight, not sticky, and it settles pretty fast. What I like is how it focuses on areas that usually look a bit uneven. Around the nose or T-zone, it gives a more refined finish without making the skin feel heavy or layered.

2. IN2IT Primer

This one feels slightly different in character. Instead of focusing only on smoothing, it leans more toward giving a soft, hydrated base feel. The texture spreads easily and doesn’t feel tight or dry, which makes it comfortable for longer wear. When I use it, my makeup seems to sit more naturally rather than looking like it’s sitting on top.
It gives a light, fresh base that works well when I want something simple and easygoing. It’s not about strong blurring—it’s more about balance and comfort throughout the day.
Having both around makes my routine feel more flexible. Instead of forcing one approach every time, I can shift depending on what the day calls for, and that makes the whole process feel more natural and less repetitive.
