Armchairs are collectively referred to as backrest chairs with armrests.
Apart from circle chairs and swivel chairs, all others are called armchairs. They come in various styles and decorations, some simple and some elaborate, often paired with coffee tables as sets, with four chairs and two tables placed on either side of the living room for a symmetrical display.
Armchairs are convenient to carry, lightweight, and reasonably priced, making them the preferred choice for outdoor travel. They can be carried or worn, are durable, and are suitable for gatherings, cooling off, outdoor leisure, etc.
They are easy to open and fold, take up little space when folded, and are reinforced with leather at stress points for durability. Apart from circle chairs and swivel chairs, all other backrest chairs with armrests are collectively referred to as armchairs.
The dining room is the most lingering place in the home, where almost everyone prefers a casual and relaxed dining atmosphere. Therefore, when it comes to dining chairs, emphasis should be placed on generous styling and comfort. Armchairs in the dining room can feel very cumbersome and inconvenient for dining, so they should be excluded from the dining room.
Whether classical or modern, elegant or exaggerated—how can a living room be complete without armchairs? Although single chairs or sofas do not have the same status in furniture as the main sofa (multi-person sofa), they are still important secondary furniture pieces. In many soft furnishing designs, they are even crafted as the focal point of a space.
The bedroom is the most functionally obvious and singular space, as well as the homeowner's private activity area. In addition to the usual bed and wardrobe, bedroom furniture is generally simple, but an excellent armchair is sure to bring a good mood to the homeowner. With the morning sun streaming through the window into the room, the mistress sits on the exquisite armchair in front of the dressing table, applying makeup and putting in a good mood for the whole day.
Since the bedroom is a rest area, the color and style of the chair should not be too flashy to avoid disrupting the quiet and comfortable rest space.
The most important and widely used furniture in the study is undoubtedly the chair. A comfortable armchair will make your study and life more enjoyable. Of course, the choice of study chair is closely related to the owner's personality.
If you are mature and stable, a standard reading chair is a good choice; if you are relaxed and lazy, then adding a leisure recliner is essential. Swivel chairs or rattan chairs are preferred for study chairs, as swivel chairs are easy to move and rattan chairs are lightweight and convenient. In addition, when tired from studying or working, rotating the position can help relax by changing the field of view.
Armchairs serve as versatile pieces of furniture enhancing comfort and aesthetics across various spaces in our homes. From the cozy intimacy of the bedroom to the functional focus of the study, their presence adds both practicality and style to our everyday lives.
