Best Dry Skin Foundations

· Fashion team
Hi loves! I don't wear foundation very often, but when I do, it has to be lightweight, hydrating, and definitely not cakey!
With dry skin, heavy formulas just don't sit well, so I've tested a few drugstore options to see which ones actually work!
1. Wet n Wild Tinted Hydrator — 100/10
This is hands down my holy grail! It's super lightweight, hydrating, and feels more like skincare than makeup. I can't stand full-coverage formulas that feel heavy on the skin, so this is perfect for me. Best part? It's only $6, which makes it unbeatable for the quality.
2. L'Oréal Infallible Foundation — 8/10
This one just doesn't work for me anymore. It feels thick and tends to look cakey on my skin. I wore it back in middle school and loved it then, but looking back, it was way too heavy. If you like a more full-coverage look, you might enjoy it, but for dry skin it's not the best match.
3. Maybelline Fit Me Dewy + Smooth — 10/10
If I ever need a foundation that provides full coverage without drying me out, this is the one I reach for. It leaves a dewy finish that looks natural and never turns cakey. A perfect option for anyone with dry skin who still wants a little extra coverage.
4. L'Oréal True Match Hyaluronic Tinted Serum — 9.5/10
The formula on this one is amazing — lightweight, moisturizing, and very natural-looking with light coverage. It feels hydrating without being greasy. My only complaint is the packaging: it gets messy quickly, and considering it's over $20, that's a bit frustrating. Otherwise, it's a fantastic pick.
For dry skin, lightweight and hydrating formulas are always the way to go. As for the Infallible, it's a pass for me, but it might work for those who don't mind a heavier finish!
