As urbanization rapidly progresses, cities are striving towards the construction of modern metropolises focused on robust economic development, ecological sustainability, harmonious living, and picturesque landscapes.
This reflects the advancement of societal spiritual and cultural values, representing the inevitable pursuit of enhanced material lifestyles for humanity.
The pursuit of happiness, health, and beauty necessitates a serene and graceful ecological environment. Consequently, people have articulated a series of goals for urban development, including aspirations for a sanitary city, a garden city, a green city, and an eco-friendly city.
Modern urban construction significantly influences the elevation of societal living standards, demanding not only a well-maintained urban ecological environment but also a renewed focus on interior spaces. Since living spaces are intimately connected to individuals' lives, and most of their time is spent indoors, as people continuously seek higher material and spiritual standards, their aesthetic awareness and the quality of living environments have also been elevated.
During interior decoration, everyone has their vision for how they want their homes to look. Similarly, interior design adheres to certain principles. Leveraging material technology and professional architectural design principles based on existing building characteristics, corresponding standards, and environmental context, it aims to create an environment that is functionally rational, aesthetically pleasing, and satisfying to people's material and spiritual needs.
1. Functionality Principle: The functional aspect of interior design involves meeting people's needs, ensuring usage requirements, and preserving the structure without internal or external boundary disruptions and damage to the building's integrity.
2. Safety Principle: Safety must take precedence for individuals inhabiting indoor spaces. Interior design demands substantial strength and rigidity in floor, wall, and ceiling structures, meeting calculated requirements, especially in connecting structural elements, ensuring utmost safety and stability.
3. Feasibility Principle: Feasibility within interior design necessitates designing with the intent to transform conceptual plans into reality through construction. Therefore, interior design must be feasible, enabling convenient and straightforward execution during construction.
4. Economic Principle: The economic aspect of interior design dictates establishing design standards based on the actual characteristics and usage of indoor architecture. It's unnecessary to aimlessly raise manufacturing standards; undue emphasis on artistic effects leading to economic waste should be avoided. However, lowering standards blindly that might affect construction quality is also imprudent. Efforts should aim to achieve higher standards within similar costs.
5. Coordination Principle: The coordination principle in interior design requires meeting functional needs in our lives (such as walking, sitting, and resting), integrating modern technology, spiritual requirements, and psychological functions.
Nowadays, interior layout receives increasing attention, emphasizing the aesthetics of interior architecture. The aforementioned principles represent popular trends in interior design. Each principle isn't standalone but rather a combination in design. Only by adhering to these principles can a perfect design be achieved.
Here are a few small and adorable ideas to create a warm and cute atmosphere at home:
1. Clothes Basket: If your clothes are still hung up and it feels messy, try this method – it's inexpensive, cute, and helps save some energy for those doing chores.
2. Doraemon Fridge Magnets: While there might not be Doraemon's magic pouch, having a fridge always filled with food, fridge magnets in Doraemon shapes add a unique touch, making it lively and fun, almost as if Doraemon has traveled into your home.
3. Faux Bamboo Hanging Decor: Under the illumination of spotlights, it appears extremely lifelike, vibrant with greenery, and full of vitality, and it's also reasonably priced.
In brief, this piece delves into how modern urbanization shapes both our lives and interior design. By highlighting fundamental design principles and sharing adorable home décor tips, it underscores the importance of crafting inviting living spaces amidst evolving cityscapes.
