Our hands are one of the hardest working parts of our body. They're exposed to the elements, constantly in use, and often the first to show signs of aging.
That's where hand cream comes in – a simple yet effective solution to keep our hands soft, supple, and protected. Let's see the fascinating world of hand creams and even learn how to make our own!

Why Use Hand Cream?

Hand cream is more than just a luxurious treat; it's an essential part of hand care. Here's why:
1. Moisturization: Hand creams provide much-needed hydration to dry, rough skin.
2. Protection: They create a barrier against environmental stressors like cold weather, sun exposure, and frequent hand washing.
3. Anti-aging: Many hand creams contain ingredients that help reduce the appearance of fine lines and age spots.
4. Healing: For those with conditions like eczema or extremely dry skin, hand creams can offer relief and promote healing.
5. Comfort: Soft, smooth hands simply feel better and can boost confidence in social and professional settings.

Instructions:
1. Create a double boiler by placing a heat-safe glass bowl on top of a pot filled with a few inches of water.
2. Add shea butter, coconut oil, sweet almond oil, and beeswax to the bowl.
3. Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring occasionally until all ingredients are melted and well combined.
4. Remove from heat and let cool for a few minutes.
5. Add essential oils and vitamin E oil (if using). Stir well.
6. Pour the mixture into a clean, sterilized jar.
7. Allow to cool completely at room temperature. The cream will solidify as it cools.
