Welcome to my little moisturizer corner, Lykkers! I’ve tried plenty of creams and gels over the years, but some products just end up getting used until the bottle is completely empty. For me, both of these moisturizers earned that spot for very different reasons.

I wanted something that could keep my skin looking fresh and hydrated without making my routine feel complicated, and honestly, I think I found two products worth talking about.

1. The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA — $14

I first picked this up because I wanted an affordable everyday moisturizer, and somehow it turned into one of those products I keep repurchasing without even thinking twice. I usually reach for it during the day as the last step of my skincare routine. It gives my skin that soft, plump feeling without leaving a heavy layer sitting on top. The texture also works really nicely under makeup, which is a big deal for me because I hate when moisturizer makes my base slide around.

2. Peach Slices Snail Rescue All-In-One Oil Free Moisturizer — $16.99

I originally bought this because I wanted something different for nighttime. I usually lean toward gel moisturizers, so I wasn’t completely sure what I would think of it. Well... I ended up loving it. My skin looks incredibly fresh and dewy after I apply it, especially when my skin has been feeling a little dull or dry. The finish gives me that juicy, glass-skin effect without feeling overly rich.

I wouldn’t say you need both, but having one moisturizer for daytime and another for nighttime has been working really well for me. The Ordinary is my reliable everyday pick, while Peach Slices is the one I reach for when I want my skin to look extra fresh and glowy. Sometimes the products that become staples aren’t the fanciest ones on the shelf. They’re simply the ones you genuinely look forward to using again.
