Good Day, Lykkers! Dark circles have been one of my biggest beauty frustrations for as long as I can remember. I’ve bought countless eye products hoping that one of them would finally make a noticeable difference, only to end up disappointed.
So when I found two products that actually became staples in my routine, I knew I had to talk about them. Neither one requires spending a ridiculous amount of money, which makes the combination even better.
1. The Ordinary Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG
This little bottle has honestly been a game changer for me. Out of all the products I’ve tried for my under-eye area, this is one where I noticed the biggest difference. The lightweight serum contains caffeine, and I love using it when my eye area looks tired or dull. Another huge selling point is the price. At around $8, it feels almost impossible not to give it a try, especially compared with some of the expensive eye treatments on the market.
2. No Baggage Proven Beauty Eye Cream
The second product is the No Baggage eye cream from Proven Beauty. It costs more than The Ordinary, but I still consider it a reasonably priced option compared with many other eye creams. What I particularly like is the hydration. My under-eye area feels softer and more comfortable when I use it consistently, while the formula also gives the area a firmer, smoother appearance. It also contains caffeine, which is another reason I like pairing it with The Ordinary serum. The two products complement each other nicely rather than feeling like unnecessary duplicates.

Using both products together has become my favorite way to care for my under-eye area. The Ordinary serum is my affordable treatment step, while the Proven Beauty cream gives me the hydration and conditioning I want. I also appreciate that both products are vegan and cruelty-free, which gives them extra points in my book. Eye creams can get surprisingly expensive, so finding two options that fit my budget while making my routine feel more complete has been such a win.
