Toners on Repeat!

Hello Friends! Toner is one of those skincare steps I used to overlook. Lately, though, I’ve been paying much more attention to how my skin feels before serum and moisturizer go on. A good toner can make my routine feel more comfortable, refreshed, and nicely balanced.
I’ve been looking at three toners with completely different personalities, so picking one really depends on what kind of finish and skin feel I’m craving that day.
1. Medicube PDRN Pink Cica Soothing Toner
This is the one I reach for when my skin is asking for something calming. The texture feels light and watery, which makes it easy to layer without making my routine feel heavy. What I like most is the soothing direction of the formula. PDRN and cica are the stars, giving this toner a more comforting feel when my skin seems a little stressed or simply needs extra moisture. I usually pat a small amount onto my skin and let it sit for a moment before moving on. It gives me that fresh, hydrated feeling without making everything afterward feel sticky.
2. COSRX Refresh AHA BHA Vitamin C Daily Toner
For days when I want my routine to feel a little more refreshing, COSRX is the interesting pick. The formula combines AHA, BHA, and vitamin C, along with the brand’s Golden-Rx Complex. I like having an exfoliating toner around because my skin can sometimes look dull or feel less smooth. Still, I prefer using products with exfoliating ingredients thoughtfully rather than piling on too many at once. The watery texture also makes it easy to work into a simple morning or evening routine. For me, this is more of a “skin feels refreshed” toner than a rich hydration step.
3. haruharu wonder Black Rice Hyaluronic Toner
This one has a completely different vibe. The Black Rice Hyaluronic Toner is the kind of product I enjoy when I want my routine to feel soft, simple, and hydrating. The black rice ingredient gives it a nice skincare identity, while hyaluronic acid brings that familiar moisture-focused touch. I especially enjoy using it when my skin feels a little tight and I want something comfortable before moisturizer. It’s also an easy toner to layer, so I can keep things minimal or add another layer when my skin needs extra hydration.

If I had to describe the three in my own way: Medicube feels soothing, COSRX feels refreshing, and haruharu wonder feels hydrating. I wouldn’t say one is automatically better than the others. My choice changes depending on what my skin seems to want that day. Sometimes I want calm and comfort, sometimes a fresher routine, and sometimes I just want that soft, hydrated feeling. Honestly, that’s what makes toner shopping fun for me — the right one can completely change the mood of a skincare routine.
