Greetings, Lykkers! There’s just something about shiny hair that makes the whole look feel more put together.
I’ve been using hair oils more often lately, and I’ve found two that make my hair look noticeably glossier while keeping it feeling soft and moisturized.
1. Gisou Hair Oil
Gisou has been one of my favorite hair brands for a while, so I was already excited to try the oil. I usually use it when I want my hair to look super sleek and glossy. One trick I love is putting my hair into a slicked-back bun and working a little oil through it before leaving it alone for the day. After wearing it for hours, I’ll wash my hair that evening. The shine afterward is honestly my favorite part. My hair feels hydrated and looks so much healthier, especially when the ends are looking a little dry. It’s one of those products I reach for when I want my hair to have that glossy, freshly styled appearance.

2. JVN Hair Drops
JVN has also become a brand I really enjoy, and the Hair Drops are such a nice addition to my routine. I like using them right after I shower while my hair is still damp. I apply a small amount through the lengths and ends, then either let my hair air-dry. Once it’s completely dry, my hair has a lovely shine without looking weighed down.
Both oils give me the glossy finish I’m always trying to achieve, but I use them a little differently. Gisou is my pick when I want a richer, more nourishing feel, while JVN is the one I grab after washing my hair.
