Hello, Lykker! Finding a cleansing foam for acne-prone skin has never been as simple as picking the first one on the shelf. I've tried formulas that left my skin feeling overly dry and others that didn't leave my skin feeling clean enough.
After plenty of trial and error, I found two cleansers that fit naturally into my routine. They both leave my skin feeling fresh, but each one has its own strengths depending on what my skin needs.
1. Heimish Matcha Biome Amino Acne Cleansing Foam
This is the cleanser I reach for when I want my skin to feel clean without that tight, squeaky sensation afterward. The foam feels rich and creamy, creating a gentle lather that rinses away sunscreen, excess oil, and daily buildup with ease. After washing, my skin feels balanced and comfortable instead of stripped. I especially enjoy using it during weeks when my skin feels a little more sensitive because it leaves everything feeling refreshed while still maintaining a soft, hydrated finish.
2. SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Tea-Trica BHA Foam Cleanser
Whenever my skin starts producing extra oil or small breakouts begin to appear, this cleanser usually moves to the front of my shelf. The foam feels lightweight but still gives a satisfying deep-clean feeling that works well after a long day. I like how refreshed my skin feels once I rinse it off, especially around areas that tend to become oilier throughout the day.
A good cleansing foam sets the tone for the rest of my skincare routine, so I always pay attention to how my skin feels after washing. Both of these cleansers have earned a place in my collection because they do their job without making my skin feel stressed. One is my everyday comfort pick, while the other is the one I reach for when my skin needs a little extra help keeping excess oil under control. Having both gives me the flexibility to care for my skin without making my routine complicated.
