Hi Lykkers, do you ever feel like your shower routine could use something more than just a quick wash? I personally love adding small steps that make everyday moments feel a little more special.
For me, using a body scrub is not only about caring for my skin but also about creating a relaxing experience with beautiful textures and refreshing scents.
Recently, I tried two lemon-inspired body scrubs that immediately caught my attention: Dr Teal’s Shea Sugar Scrub in the Prebiotic Lemon Balm scent and Ziaja Lemon Cake Sugar Body Scrub. Both have a sweet citrus character, but they gave me different experiences during my self-care routine. Here is what I personally noticed from each one.
1. Dr Teal’s Shea Sugar Scrub in Prebiotic Lemon Balm — A Refreshing Citrus Spa Feeling at Home
The first scrub I tried was Dr Teal’s Shea Sugar Scrub in the Prebiotic Lemon Balm scent. The first thing I noticed was the fresh lemon balm aroma that made my shower feel more relaxing. It gave me the feeling of stepping into a small home spa moment, especially after a long and tiring day.
The texture felt rich and creamy with sugar particles that helped remove the feeling of roughness on my skin. I enjoyed how the scrub felt nourishing instead of leaving my skin feeling dry after rinsing. What I liked most about this scrub was the balance between exfoliation and comfort. The shea butter-inspired softness made my skin feel smoother and more cared for, while the citrus scent added a refreshing touch to my routine.
2. Ziaja Lemon Cake Sugar Body Scrub — A Sweet Treat for My Shower Routine
The second product I tried was Ziaja Lemon Cake Sugar Body Scrub, and the name itself already sounded interesting. Unlike a simple citrus scent, this one gave me a sweeter impression, almost like a dessert-inspired skincare experience. The texture was enjoyable to use because it felt like a gentle sugar polish for my skin. I liked taking my time with this scrub because the scent made the whole process feel fun and comforting.
After rinsing, my skin felt softer and had a refreshed feeling. I personally enjoy using this one when I want to add a little happiness to my routine because the lemon cake scent creates a cozy and cheerful atmosphere. This scrub feels like a skincare treat for anyone who enjoys sweet fragrances and wants their shower routine to feel more enjoyable.
After trying both body scrubs, I found that they each bring their own personality to my self-care collection. Dr Teal’s Shea Sugar Scrub in Prebiotic Lemon Balm feels like a refreshing spa-inspired choice with a clean citrus touch, while Ziaja Lemon Cake Sugar Body Scrub feels like a sweet and playful skincare treat.
If I want a relaxing and refreshing shower after a busy day, I would choose Dr Teal’s. When I want something that feels cheerful and cozy, Ziaja Lemon Cake becomes my pick.
