Good Day, Lykkers! I have a habit of buying eyeshadow palettes because the colors look pretty online, but not all of them become part of my everyday routine. Some shades barely get touched, while others seem to disappear much faster because I keep reaching for them.
Out of everything I've tried, these two palettes are the ones I genuinely enjoy using. They each have a different vibe, so I never feel like they're competing for the same spot in my collection.

1. Espoir Eye Core Palette #3 Vintage Mute – Around $28

The Vintage Mute palette quickly became one of those products I could use without thinking too much. The colors have a soft, muted look that makes creating an eye look feel almost effortless. Even when I'm in a hurry, I can pick a few shades and know they'll blend together nicely.
What I like most is how balanced the palette feels. There are enough matte shades for everyday looks, along with a few shimmer colors that add just the right amount of brightness without looking too dramatic. The shimmer catches the light beautifully but never feels too bold for daytime. The texture also deserves some credit. The powders feel smooth, blend easily, and don't leave me struggling to soften harsh edges. Even someone who isn't great at eyeshadow would probably find this palette easy to work with.

2. Holika Holika My Fave Mood Eye Palette 03 Pinkology – Around $22

Pinkology is completely different, and that's exactly why I enjoy having it. Instead of muted neutrals, this palette leans into soft pinks, rosy tones, and gentle sparkle that instantly make my makeup look fresher. I originally thought I'd only wear these shades during spring, but I ended up reaching for them throughout the year. The pink colors are surprisingly wearable and don't make my eyes look tired, which was something I worried about before buying it.
One thing I appreciate is the variety of finishes. The matte shades work well as a base, while the glitter and shimmer colors add enough dimension to make the eyes stand out without looking overdone. Mixing the finishes is easy, and I rarely feel like I need another palette to complete the look. This is my favorite choice whenever I want makeup that feels softer, brighter, and a little more playful than my usual neutral looks.
These palettes each bring something different to my makeup routine. Espoir Vintage Mute is the dependable option I can wear almost anywhere, while Holika Holika Pinkology is the one I reach for whenever I want a little more color without going overboard. Even with newer palettes constantly launching, these two continue to earn their space on my vanity. They simply make getting ready easier, and that's probably the biggest compliment I can give any eyeshadow palette.
