Welcome, Lykkers! Breakouts always seem to appear at the worst time, so I like keeping a couple of acne serums in my routine that I know I can rely on.
I don't expect overnight miracles, but I do want formulas that feel comfortable on my skin and help calm blemishes without making everything feel dry or irritated. After trying different options, two serums have earned a permanent spot on my shelf.
1. The Originote Acne B5 Serum
Whenever my skin feels stressed and new pimples start appearing, this is usually the first serum I reach for. The texture feels lightweight, so it layers nicely with the rest of my skincare without leaving any sticky feeling behind. I also like that it helps my skin stay comfortable while working on active blemishes. My complexion looks calmer after consistent use, and I don't feel like I'm sacrificing hydration just to treat acne.
2. Facerinna 2% Salicylic Acid Acne Serum
Stubborn clogged pores and small bumps are exactly why I keep this serum around. The 2% salicylic acid formula helps keep my pores feeling cleaner, especially around areas where I tend to get repeated breakouts. I usually notice my skin looking smoother after using it regularly, and it has become one of the products I rely on whenever my skin starts acting up.
Every breakout is different, so I enjoy having more than one acne serum depending on what my skin needs. One works well when I want something gentle and comforting, while the other is my go-to for congested areas that need extra attention. Having both options makes it much easier to adjust my routine instead of using the same product for every kind of blemish.
