Building a makeup collection has never been about having everything for me. I’ve always preferred a small set of products that I actually use, things that feel familiar in my hands.
Over time, I realized it’s less about quantity and more about how each item fits into my routine. These are a few pieces that, in their own way, have earned a place on my table.
1. Bobbi Brown Foundation
Foundation is usually where everything begins. This one feels reliable, like something I can reach for without second-guessing. It evens things out without looking too heavy, which is important because I don’t like my skin to feel covered up. I tend to apply it lightly, just enough to smooth the overall look. It doesn’t try to do too much, and that’s exactly why it works for me.
2. Lancôme L’Absolu Rouge Drama – Matte Lipstick
This lipstick has a way of shifting the whole mood of my makeup. Even if the rest is minimal, adding this instantly makes everything feel more complete. The color has depth, and the matte finish gives it that classic, slightly bold look. I don’t wear it all the time, but when I do, it feels intentional—like I’ve decided to put a little more effort into the day.
3. Lash Love Fanorama
Mascara is probably the quickest step in my routine, but it makes a noticeable difference. This one separates and lifts my lashes in a way that doesn’t feel clumpy or overdone. I like that it adds definition without making my lashes look stiff. It’s simple, but it brings just enough attention to the eyes to make them stand out a bit more.
4. Focallure – PP01
This palette adds a bit of flexibility to everything else. The shades are easy to work with, whether I’m going for something soft or slightly more defined. I don’t spend too much time blending or layering, so having colors that cooperate without much effort is a plus. It’s the kind of product that lets me adjust my look depending on how I feel that day.
Looking at my collection now, it feels more personal than ever. Each product has a role, but none of them feel excessive. It’s a mix of small choices that come together in a way that suits me, and that’s what makes the routine feel natural rather than forced.
