I never used to think much about makeup puffs. To me, they were just tools—nothing special. But after trying a few different types, I started noticing how much they actually change the finish.
The same product can look completely different depending on what you use to apply it. Now I pay a bit more attention, even if it’s just a small detail in the routine.

1. Somethinc Cushion Puff

This one feels soft but still has enough bounce to it. When I press it into the skin, the product spreads evenly without looking patchy. I like how it gives a smooth, almost seamless finish, especially when I’m using cushion foundation. It doesn’t soak up too much product either, which is always a plus. On days when I want my base to look neat but not heavy, this puff usually does the trick.

2. Looke Cushion Puff

The texture on this one feels slightly different—maybe a bit firmer, but in a good way. It gives me more control when I’m applying product, especially around areas that need a bit more attention. I tend to use this when I want a slightly more polished look. It presses the product in nicely, and the result feels a bit more refined, like everything is sitting exactly where it should be.

3. Pressed Powder Puff

This is the one I reach for when I just want to set everything quickly. It’s simple, no fuss. I tap it lightly over areas that tend to get a bit shiny, and it does its job without disturbing what’s underneath. What I like most is how it keeps things looking soft rather than dry. It’s not about perfection here—it’s just about keeping everything in place.

4. Looke Loose Powder Puff

This one feels a bit more traditional, almost like something you’d see on a vanity table. It picks up more product, so I have to be a little careful, but when used lightly, it gives that smooth, almost blurred finish. I usually go for this when I have more time and want to take things slow. There’s something satisfying about pressing it gently and seeing everything come together.
At first glance, all puffs might seem the same, but they each bring a different touch to the routine. The Somethinc puff feels easy and reliable, Looke cushion puff adds a bit more control, the pressed powder puff keeps things practical, and the Looke loose powder puff leans into a softer, more classic feel. It’s funny how something so small can quietly change the whole outcome.
