Trying new products is part of my job.
I’m constantly testing launches, opening PR packages, and rotating things in and out of my routine. But no matter how many new items I try, there are a few staples I always end up buying with my own money. If I’ve repurchased something more than once, that says everything.

1. Milk Makeup Hydro Grip Primer

This primer never leaves my collection. The texture is slightly tacky, which makes it the perfect base for foundation. My makeup grips onto it and genuinely lasts all day without sliding around. It also feels hydrating, so my skin doesn’t look flat or dry underneath. I’ve tried countless primers, and I still circle back to this one every time.

2. Maybelline Fit Me Foundation

This foundation has been with me since my high school makeup days, and somehow it still competes with luxury formulas. It gives solid medium coverage while keeping a natural, skin-like finish. It wears beautifully throughout the day and never feels heavy. Honestly, I’ve tested high-end foundations that cost three times as much and still prefer this one.

3. LA Girl Shady Slim Brow Pencil

I go through brow pencils faster than almost any other product because I do my brows daily. This one stands out every single time. It’s affordable, precise, and makes my brows look full without appearing drawn on. The fine tip allows for natural strokes, and at $5, I never feel guilty stocking up.
With so many new products launching constantly, it takes a lot for something to earn a permanent spot in my routine. These are the items I trust, repurchase, and rely on consistently. Trends come and go, but staples like these stay in my makeup bag for a reason.
